Duane King, based out of Las Vegas, is known for his driving funky beats and aggressively risky mixing techniques, incorporating diverse genres and styles. He is one of the few Las Vegas DJ’s to have experienced and enjoyed the jet setting DJ lifestyle by DJ’ing many of the worlds clubbing destinations. Not only all over the United States, but countries such as Ibiza, London, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, & Peru.

Since 2006, Duane has been one of the Resident DJ’s for the Angel Management Group. He is the Sunday night Bi-Monthly Resident DJ for Chateau Nightclub & Gardens, the Resident DJ for Holsteins Lounge inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, The European Pool at Wynn Resorts every Friday and The Cabana Club Pool located at Red Rock Casino Spa & Resort. Even with such a busy schedule, he is still doing guest DJ appearances all over the world. His style covers a wide variety of dance music, ranging from his passion and love for house music to hip-hop and R & B to dance classics to trance to all genres in between. King’s versatility has led to him being embraced as one of the top DJ’s in Vegas. Duane has had residencies at Eden in Ibiza, Spain, Room at The Top in Scotland, 1015 Folsum in San Francisco, Circus Nightclub in Los Angeles, Las Vegas’  RA The Nightclub, Club Utopia, Club Rio and the famous Metz Nightclub to name a few and surpasses all others with his ability to thrill and pump a dance floor.

Duane’s DJ’ing career began in New York City where he held residencies at The Tunnel, Speed Limit 55 and Club Edelweiss. He worked alongside Wild Pitch Promotion and appeared in numerous events and festivals around the city whilst building up the foundations that would lead to him becoming the Music Director of RA The Nightclub in 1998. RA was one of the most prestigious nightclubs in not only Las Vegas, but the whole of America.

Duane’s vision for RA was to not sound like all other nightclubs in Las Vegas. He not only wanted to bring a true clubbing experience to Vegas, he wanted to help make it a clubbing destination. He wanted every night at RA to be a different experience from the other. He hired DJ’s for the club he felt he could mold into becoming the driving force for RA, DJ’s that are now superstars within the Las Vegas Nightlife infrastructure. Duane then forged relationships with some of the world’s elite artist management agencies such as PAMDJS, AM Only, Chaotica, WME Entertainment, Excession to name a few.

Alongside RA the Nightclub’s management, Duane and his company FantasyLand Productions, built Pleasuredome, a weekly event where top National and international DJ’s and producers brought the European and the world music scene to Las Vegas. After a mere four years Duane King put RA among one of the top 10 club destinations in the world, as voted by Muzik Magazine and Elle magazine. He is responsible for booking the world’s top DJ’s to perform for the first time in Las Vegas. Enticing DJ’s such as Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Eric Morillo, Boy George, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Timo Maas, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul, DJ Icey, Skribbles, Funkmaster Flex plus many other DJ’s and artist to the club to play and perform alongside him, gratifying club goers dreams from around the world. It is due to the clubs unprecedented reputation that RA was invited, as the first American club, to hold residency in Ibiza.

Duane appeared in and has been interviewed by various publications and radio stations all over the globe, such as Ministry, Mixmag, New York City 411, DJ, Muzik, Elle, Vanity Fair, I.D, Radio 1 with Pete Tong and KISS 100fm with the Sharp Boys. He has also been featured in a documentary filmed by UK’s Sky One about the Vegas club scene along with a documentary filmed by MTV on American DJ’s.
